Story

"The Five Heroes of Langya Mountain" is a household story in China.It tells the story of the five warriors of Eighth Route Army who accepted the mission of fighting against 3,000 Japanese enemies  and covered the people and transfer the company . In order to accomplish their mission, they led the enemy to the cliff and finally jumped over the cliff to take advantage of the country.


Intention

This is the heroic battle song of the Chinese people who are fighting against Japanese imperialism! It is the starting point of our creation to tell the Chinese people's great anti-war story with Chinese artistic spirit and artistic elements.

The environmental place where the story takes place is the Langya Mountain where the peaks and peaks are continuous, the walls are axe, the gullies are horizontal and the rocks are standing. They are like a warrior standing between the heavens and the earth, they are the sixth five strong men of the Langya Mountain!


Meaning
To this end, we fully follow the virtual and stylized artistic principles of Peking Opera, and pursue the poetic spatial expression of both imagery and form. We choose ink and color to build a freehand motion space, using as few environmental elements as possible to express more environmental space changes. With the combination of mountain peaks and clouds and solid dead trees in Chinese ink art, the five strong men's action intentions and environmental space are constructed, and the heroic spirit of the five strong men is pinned between the ink and the mountains and rivers. People, emphasizing the performance of the action space full of the deep feelings of the characters and the power of life, in the depiction of the mountains and rivers of the motherland, the Chinese people who show so many pets and sing the great heroes.

1. Story 

The Peking opera Dawn in Fire describes the story of the underground communists in Chongqing who were imprisoned in Gele Mountain prison killed by the frenzied Kuomintang reactionaries on the eve of Chongqing's imminent liberation.  What is outrageous is that four children aged one to nine in this prison were also killed.


2. Intention —— A Living Hell, The Darkness Before Dawn 

In the stage space, there is endless darkness, giving people a strong sense of suffocation and oppression. The simple white lines are even more frightening in the ferocious mountains and ethereal black gauze. This is like a visual summary of the overall environment of living hell on earth.


3. The Pursuit of Space —— The Blankness and Conception Beyond Image, the Form and Meaning

We decided to create a suggestive "empty space" that is both real and imaginary, and the actual and the imaginary coexist.  This "empty space" is to create empty darkness in the stage space, which is unified with the overall stage image of "darkness before dawn". This "empty space" means to give useful space to actors and use few suggestive "shapes" and environmental elements to indicate specific environmental locations. The "empty" is not without things, but in a very simple way and suggestive way to construct a "meaningful form" space.


4. Configuration Elements: Fusion of "Line" and "Image"
In order to express "hope", we hope to choose a "first-line sky".   This line constitutes the basic element of our environmental modeling, throughout. This line of "image" and "form", from the material world to the spiritual world, creates a spatial meaning of "limited form but infinite meaning".

一. 故事
京剧《狼牙山》讲述了五位八路军抗日战士接受了阻击三千日寇,掩护人民群众和连队转移的任务。为了完成自己的使命,他们把敌人引上悬崖绝壁,最后跳崖,以身殉国。 


二. 立意

1、峥嵘岁月,江山多娇,无数英雄竟折腰。
2、让舞台设计形象成为第六位“狼牙山壮士”。


三. 取象

狼牙山,群峰突兀连绵,壁若斧削,大沟深壑,怪石林立,宛如一群雄狮猛兽。山峰、云海、枯树、乱石,尽显岁月峥嵘。


四. 手法

1、用水墨重彩来构建具有中国艺术精神的写意的动作空间,追求形神兼备的诗化艺术表现。
2、用虚实相生的艺术手法,追求极少的环境元素,表现尽量多的环境变化。

3、以物蕴情,以景写人,强调饱含人物情感生命的气韵空间表现,追求动作空间所具有的当代艺术观念观照下的艺术意蕴。


五. 生义
让五壮士的英雄精神寄托在水墨山川大河之间,强调饱含人物深情和生命力量的动作空间表现,讴歌伟大英雄的中国人民。

一、故事

京剧《浴火黎明》描述了,在重庆即将解放的前夕,被关押在歌乐山监狱的重庆地下共产党员及四名一到九岁幼儿被丧心病狂的国民党反动派杀害的故事。


二、舞台意象—人间魔窟,黎明前的黑暗

在舞台上,笼罩无尽的黑暗,给人强烈的窒息感和压迫感,简约的白色线条在狰狞的山和缥缈的黑纱中更显恐怖。这就是人间活地狱总体环境的视觉概括。


三、空间追求——虚实相生,形与意浑

创造既实又虚的暗示性的舞台动作“空的空间”。这个“空的空间不是没有东西,而是以极简的方式、暗示性的手法构筑一个虚实相生,形与意浑的“有意味的形式”空间。


四、构形元素:“线”与“象”的融合
在舞美设计构形元素中,“线”作为主要构形元素贯穿始终。在“象”的意义上取自于 “一线天”,是“黎明前的黑暗”中所蕴含的希望的视觉含义。
